Information and rules concerning abstract submission

Guidance for authors submitting oral and poster presentations.

General information

These rules apply to both oral and poster presentations.

• Abstracts must be submitted in English and must not exceed 300 words, including the headings: Background, Objective, Method, Results and Conclusion.
• The presenting author should create the user account.
• Multiple abstract submissions are permitted.
• Please proofread your abstract carefully before submitting it. Changes or additions will not be accepted after the abstract submission deadline.
• Please provide a valid email address for confirmation of receipt and all subsequent correspondence about your submission.
• All accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website.

Abstract guidelines and instructions

Abstracts must report original work and meet international ethical standards. Abbreviations should be defined. Trade names are not permitted in the title but may be accepted in brackets in the abstract body.

• Title: Provide one title of no more than 20 words.
• Abstract body: Use a maximum of 300 words, including the required headings.
• Structure: Organise the abstract under the headings Background, Objective, Method, Results and Conclusion.
• Presentation method: Select your preferred presentation format: Oral or Poster, Poster Only, or Symposium.
• Symposium submissions: If you are submitting an abstract for a symposium, please provide the names and affiliations of all presenters, together with the title of each presentation included in the symposium.
• Keywords: Select between one and three keywords. View the keyword list.
• Category: Submit your abstract under one of the categories listed below.
