Instructions for poster session on August 28 and oral abstract presentations


General information - Applies to both oral and poster presentations:

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English, limited to 300 words and include Background, Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
  • The user account should be created by the presenting author.
  • Multiple abstract submissions are permitted.
  • Please ensure the abstract is proof read carefully before submitting, as changes or additions will not be accepted after the call for abstracts closes.
  • Remember to include a valid email address for confirmation of receipt of the abstract submission and ongoing communication.
  • All accepted abstract will be published on the website.

  • Abstract guidelines and instructions

    Abstracts must contain original work and meet international ethical standards. Abbreviations should be defined and trade names are not allowed in the title, but may be accepted (in brackets) in the body.
    The abstract should be structured as follows:
  • Select one title (max. 20 words)
  • The body of submitted abstracts may not exceed 300 words.
  • Abstract must be organized under these headings: Background, Objective, Method, Results, and Conclusion (this will be counted toward the 300 words).
  • Select 1 to 5 keywords your abstract relates to. See keywords here
  • Submit your abstract to one of the following categories:
  • 1. Child Neuropsychology
    2. Neuropsychiatry
    3. Brain disorders
    4. Other

    If you have any questions regarding the rules or academic focus, feel free to contact Berrit Hedegaard at bh@meetingplanners.dk. Remember that even though you have submitted an abstract, you still need to sign up for the congress. We can not guarantee a place unless you book it yourself.

    Oral presentation information

  • Onsite: Please come to the designated meeting room at least 2 hours before your presentation. Bring your presentation on USB stick, alternatively you may send it onsite to the technician in the room. You can use the onsite laptop, or you can bring your own.
    -Please come to the designated meeting room 30 minutes before the session starts.
    -You have 15 minutes for your presentation + 3 minutes for questions after the presentation = 18 minutes in total. The chair will introduce you and the chair will also keep track of time, as it is very important that the assigned time is not exceeded.
  • AV: The room has a dedicated technician who will assist with practicalities during the session and will make sure everything runs smoothly..


  • Poster presentation information

  • Maximum size for poster is A0 (W:84,1 cm x H:118,9 cm)
  • All posters must be in Portrait orientation.
  • Mounting time: Posters can be mounted from 09:00 on August 28. Each of the posterboards will be numbered. The posternumber will be sent prior to the submitters. Please display your poster on the correct board. Pins will be provided.
  • Dismantling time: Before 19:00 August 28. Any materials that are mot removed before 19:00 August 28 will be discarded.
