Guidelines for abstracts, oral presentations, and the poster session on August 28.

General information (applies to oral & poster)

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English, limited to 300 words, and include: Background, Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion.
  • The user account must be created by the presenting author.
  • Multiple abstract submissions are permitted.
  • Proofread carefully before submitting. Changes/additions are not accepted after the call closes.
  • Include a valid email for confirmation and ongoing communication.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published on the website.

Abstract guidelines & structure

Abstracts must contain original work and meet international ethical standards. Define abbreviations at first use. Trade names are not allowed in the title (they may be used in brackets within the body).

  • Title: one title, maximum 20 words.
  • Body: up to 300 words total.
  • Headings: Background, Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion (these count toward the 300 words).
  • Keywords: select 1–5 relevant keywords. See keywords here.
  • Category: submit to one of the following:
    • Child Neuropsychology
    • Neuropsychiatry
    • Brain disorders
    • Other

Oral presentation information

  • Arrive early: go to your meeting room at least 2 hours before your session to check in with the technician.
  • Bring your slides: USB stick recommended. You may also send it to the room technician. You can use the onsite laptop or your own.
  • Before start: be in the room 30 minutes before the session begins.
  • Timing: 15 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A = 18 minutes total. The chair will introduce you and keep time strictly.
  • AV support: a dedicated technician will assist and ensure the session runs smoothly.

Poster presentation information (August 28)

  • Maximum size: A0 portrait (W 84.1 cm × H 118.9 cm).
  • Orientation: Portrait only.
  • Mounting: from 09:00 on August 28. Poster boards are numbered; you will receive your poster number in advance. Pins are provided.
  • Dismantling: before 19:00 on August 28. Materials not removed by 19:00 will be discarded.
